[Video: X Factor Words: Chloe Curran] It’s been reported today that Simon Cowell is close to deciding what he wants the X Factor winners song to be. Apparently he’s whittled it down to two tracks and they are the 80’s power ballad (and karaoke classic) Don’t Stop Believin’ and the Disney song The Climb, which features in the Hannah Montana movie, hmmmm. Insiders claim he’s leaning towards Don’t Stop Believin’ but is still waiting to iron out all the legal issues. However, if he does go with this track he may be criticised for boosting Joe McElderry’s chances as he’s already performed the song in an earlier show. The Sun reports: “Danyl and Olly really think they can win. They will be shocked to learn the winner’s song is one Joe has already performed.” Well perhaps they’d be even more shocked to hear that after Lloyd Daniels they are both favourite to face the chop and it’s actually Stacey and Joe who are most likely to battle it out in the final.
