Having missed a few days of filming for Britain’s Got Talent while recovering from flu, Simon Cowell seemed to be back in form last night as he stepped out to have dinner at his favorite restaurant Mr Chow along with a mystery woman.
But while Simon was stuck in bed with a temperature he enlisted the services of his pal Louis Walsh to fill in for him as a judge on BGT. And now, having worked on the show for a mere three days, Louis has deiced to take a swipe at the judging skills of fellow BGT panelist Piers Morgan. “He’s a poor man’s Cowell” Louis reportedly said of Piers: “He’s absolutely desperate to be like him, he even acts like him. He knows nothing about music – he’s just a journalist. “He’s never had a hit in the charts, so how can he judge music? I honestly can’t believe how he gets away with it.” Um, the words pot, kettle and black spring to mind Louis. Hitting back at the pint-sized Irish star’s comments, Piers said: “I sold 2.8 billion newspapers. That’s rather more than he has sold records.” Oh, retract those claws ladies…
